Lightbulb Xmas ideas:

We just got this catalog in the mail. It has some very interesting, and useful
gift ideas:

http://www.firststreetonline.com/

Unlike some gadget catalogs, this one seems affordable.

I like this catalog - http://www.collectionsetc.com/index.aspx

They have a variety of items - and not a single thing costs more than $20

I recently bought a pair of goose down slippers for myself for $9.99 and a big knife block set for the kitchen that had over 30 knives plus other kitchen utensils and a cutting board all for $14.99

I saw a similar knife block set in the bed and bath catalog for $200!! Ok, so maybe my knives are not a name brand that will last 50 years, but it's a great set that will last many many years.

Wink Very nice Liz...

Looks like fun!

This is much nicer than one we used this summer, that was similar ..
(nothing over $14.99) from China mostly.
We bought pet stairs from that one, to enable Sheba to get up on the
high beds, we have at our vacation place. She cannot jump anymore.
We have cushy ones here ($40), but my hubby didn't want to shlep them again
this season, so we bought the other and left it up there. It did require a 2 hr
investment in assembly... which was considerable! They have little paw prints on the 3 treads..fairly cute, but rickety.. I had to put rocks on the lower back bar to stablize them. They look like doll-house accessories! LOL But she used them all the time...so it was worth it!

That link you provided should keep me busy for a while! LOL

MrsD,
Very cool magazine!! I like the power zoom vanity mirror!!
Also, Wittesea, this is one of my favorite catalogs too!! I have actually ordered several things from them and they all were delivered perfectly.

I too love shopping from collectionsetc. I have gotten a number of good products from them. At this time they have a number of items for 65% of the orginal prices.

I also shop at http://www.abcdistributing.com. They have some good bargains and are adding more each week.
