Default Magnesium & nightmares

I started taking Slow Mag (two pills / day) and had terrible nightmares each night I took it. I stopped taking it and the nightmares stopped, so I'm assuming that was the cause.

Is this common or has anyone else experienced this? Would the nightmares subside after a while?

Thanks

Do you take any meds ? Some interfere with mag.

I wonder if a different form of magnesium rather than mag chloride may be OK. Mag citrate or mag theonate

Reports on mag chloride say it is a detoxifier. Maybe it is releasing built up toxins that will eventually clear.

Default Mg

My supplement is Dimagnesium malate from Jigsaw. They recommend 4 tablets per day, but I currently take two.
