Yes I agree, cool, not cold water for MS symptoms due to heat. Cold might be too stressful.

There is a hydrotherapy form where one takes aleternating hot and cold showers to help with lymph drainage. Maybe that's what you are referring to?

Cool baths are my saviour on hot days. Sometimes I'm soaking in one so frequently that I just leave the water in the tub and take the plunge as needed during the day or night.

The other thing that works for me on hot nights is to take a cotton bed sheet, get it wet in cool water, strip down and wrap the body with it before going to bed. A beach towel on the bed protects it from getting damp.

I don't have AC as it doesn't usually get hot enough long enough where I live to make it worth it. Although as symptoms have been getting worse over time, I'm considering taking that plunge as well
