Sadly if this is just MS stuff there are limited things they can do to help us.
If you weren't happy with your PCPs knowledge about MS I doubt a ED doc will suit you and if they feel you are a frequent flier looking for pain medications they will be concerned about continuing to give you narcotics.
If this is the reason you are going to the ED I would suggest you consult a pain management specialist because your MS specialist is also likely to be hesitant, and for good reason, to attempt to manage chronic pain.
