Robert,

Yes, that statement is very true.

I have to tell you that it is standard protocol to take an xray after the abutments are placed to be sure that they are seated down all the way. It is also recommended to take another xray after the crowns or bridge are put in to evaluate how that seats interproximally so that the patient can be instructed on how to properly floss around them. It is more difficult to floss underneath a bridge and it would be good for you to know how to do that properly.

Robert, may I ask why were these teeth removed? Had they been root canaled?
