Robert,

I've been in the dental field for 35 yrs.... I'll let you in on a little secret....
Dentists are accustomed to compromising on their fees or reimbursing them to patients who have had their dental work fail within a short period of time. Whether or not you stick with the same dentist or go elsewhere, the same principal holds true.

Never hesitate to state your discontent and that you want a reimbursement.
