Chelle - You've only been taking Rebif for about 7 or 8 months and the heat issues have been going on for over a year so I don't think it's the Rebif that's causing it.

I can't answer your question from personal experience as I have never taken Rebif, don't have hypothyroidism, and am not on the V Dot patch. but I have a friend that was on V dot and she experienced the same symptom. She finally stopped using the patch and the symptom went away. The hot flashes came back but she said it was far better than what she was dealing with while she was on the patch. (She had other symptoms as well). I have also heard from a few other women that they know people who experienced temperature regulation issues, for lack of a better term, while on the patch. It may not be what's causing your issue but worth a check. How long have you been on the V Dot? Also, it's my understanding that the V Dot doesn't completely get rid of hot flashes, but does help minimize them.
