When do you decide to go on disability?
When (for those have you who have) and how have you decided to go on disability?
There is the obvious - right after the accident and you need to get that immediate rest....
But what about the more long term,if you returned to work. How did you evaluate if things are 'working'? What level of a daily headache from it is ok? How many exceptions did your work make for your condition?
(FYI my state has disability insurance that I've paid into w/ each paycheck via a tax...so easier the social security process.)

MVA in Feb of 2013. Resulting in chronic migraines, vertigo,fatigue. Previously was an elite athlete, hard worker, always going and doing something! Have had to cut back a lot. Training a service dog to alert to migraines and help with balance and when I need to close my eyes but still navigate around.
