Default encouragement

Hi,
I have had atypical TN for 7 years. I have gone through 2 MVD surgeries that were not successful as well as a balloon rhizotomy and radiation therapy twice. I have been on all the medications. Tegretol and nortriptyline seem to help a little. I have seen 24 doctors and spent so much of my time and money fighting this. Last year I was at the end of my rope. I felt I had to finally DO something with my pain.

This disease so often keeps us away from others and isolates us and our emotions. Don't let it! I pray you never give up. This fight is worth it and in the process this disease can be something you are thankful for...I know that sounds crazy but I am thankful I have gone through this. It helps me be compassionate to others and also has strengthened my faith.
