Welcome to Neuro Talk. Is there a teaching hospital near you? Often they can recommend a dentist or doctor through the hospital patient advocasy program. There are rural centers also that may have access to dentists on a sliding scale. This tooth should be looked at, even if you do not have money issues. You don't want this infection to go into the bone and cause even more trouble. Bryanna is the best on this site. I know she will answer you soon. If there is a womens' center, that too may provide an answer so you can get to see a dentist. I have a dentist who knows of my financial troubles, and she allows me to make payments when I can. I did ask her for help, and she said it was OK. Sometimes you just have to ask the dentist. Go to a private dentist, not one associated with a chain of dentists. I found compassion that way. I sure wish you all the best. ginnie
