Hello,

Are you taking Celebrex? Celebrex is both an anti-inflammatory and also offers pain relief for arthritis. If you are not talking it you may want to ask your doctor about adding it to your regimen.

Arthritis can progress rapidly due to disuse and the same has been well documented regarding CRPS/RSD. The best thing you can do aside from surgery, is to use it. If you cannot tolerate walking on land, walking in a pool would be just as beneficial. Using a recumbent or stationary bike is also good but not as good as weight bearing. Even just 10 min of walking every hour would greatly reduce the speed of progression and reduce pain.
