Same here Snoozie. The only house I ever "bought" was the house I grew up in. I bought my sister's half rather than sell it and share the money. It was an emotional decision, not a smart decision. I never bothered inspecting the house - should have been torn down a long time ago.

It's kinda freaky to live here sometimes, especially when bad memories recur. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do much renovating. Bad enough to have the memory, even worse to be located at the same spot. Still, it's home, and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Not sure if my dad would allow non-family members to live here either. He might haunt them.
