That's what I've been hearing/reading here. I don't know the costs; you'd have to check with you pharmacy, and it may depend on your scrip coverage. Noritriptyline has been generic for a long time, so it may still be cheaper than something that's just become generic. Again, the big difference will be when insurance gets involved.

Our insurance is in 3 tiers, with Nortriptyline on the lowest Tier. Usually all generics are on that tier, but some may be in the middle one, which would cost 2 1/2 or 3 times more. The highest is 5x the lowest tier. No hurry. I just talked to my Neuro about it for future reference, as I couldn't tolerate the side effects of the Nortriptyline at a higher dose, should it stop working at my present level.
