I'd have your jaw looked at by a doctor at this point. Especially as you are not able to open and close it fully. Other than the obvious bone part of the jaw, there are also tendons/muscles that extend from the jaw to regions in your neck.
Far better to err on the part of caution and be seen at this point. Sounds like you got hit pretty hard. That being said, maybe a good idea to pay attention to any neck discomfort. Yes, can get whiplash in football too. That can be more insiduous in revealing itself.
