I had a lot of vivid nightmares after my concussion too! Many times I will dream of a fight or something and someone hitting my head. Then I would suddenly wake up feeling like my head has been hit!
This could be due to the stress of doing a phd thesis at the same time though. The nightmares lasted about two months
