Trigger points and muscle tension can affect the nerves quite a bit, if those are present try some various therapies to resolve those before looking deeper into any kind of surgical option..

I'd hate for to to have a surgery and then find it was not the fix.

Unless the dr can show & prove that surgery is required of course..

There is also double & triple "crush" syndromes where you have TOS and carpal or cubital tunnel or all 3..
