I had this problem too it lasted for 6 month and ended up with a feeding tube. what happened was the nerves that controled my swallowing shut down so I couldnt appsoltuly not swallow a teaspoon of water without choking it took 3 month of a speech therepy coming to my bed every day to retrain myself to swallow. it sure is scary, and I hope ity never happens again
