Thyroid problems run in my family but so far mine seems okay. That said...I know first hand that when you have other health issues going on simultaneously that it can put your CRPS into overdrive. If that's what he means by "sort itself out" then he could be right. If he means it will go away...well...I WISH that were the case but it's probably just wishful thinking.

I will say that once we got my other issues dealt with...it was much easier to deal with JUST the CRPS. I was able to cope better with the pain and CRPS symptoms once I didn't have other stuff aggravating it and flaring up the pain constantly.

I guess it's just a wait and see. I will keep my fingers crossed that getting the thyroid stuff under control will make life with CRPS at least a little easier.
