just a quick note. We got back home last night around 8pm, having stopped for dinner in a town on the way home. I love their new orleans style BBQ shrimp. It is a buttery sauce with shrimp floating in it. It comes with a grit cake which was delicious and a round baget.
WE had fun at the beach drank many many bush whackers and spent a ton of money. My favorite thing on the paradise inn bar and grill was their spinach and chicken quasiddilas sp? WE ate out ssatuday night at a place that has wonderful steaks but I had the grilled tuna steak which was fabulous came with a seaweed salad coleslaw which was wonderful it sat on a layer of wasabi sauce. Jeff had an enormous ribeye.
we were stuffed.
friday night we went down to the beach and walked out on the big pier watched the waves come rolling in very dark and mysterious, no moon to light up the sky and far away from the lights of the bigger hotels. We walked a lot!
then we went to the water edge and played around with the bioluminesence photo plankton. running your fingers along the sand stimulates them and they light up, sparkle... it was so much fun!
jeff got up early on sunday and went down to the beach again and fed the seagulls that was fun for him I stayed in bed which was fun for me.
the tiki bar had live music each night so we enjoyed that the inn has a pier where you can feed the fish and boats dock up there to come off shore to eat and drink and be merry. WEll I had better get going and start my day back to work.
I weighed in this morning at my heaviest weight in over a year....sigh
