If you ask the set up person, they probably will set it all up for you..

They may use a router that is both 'wired' and wifi ours from frontier works both ways...
so it can be a plugged in or wifi which ever works for your uses..

Hi. I just spoke to the people at Optimum and they told me they have a modem/router thing (like what I have with Verrizon DSL.) I guess technology has caught up. We no longer need a modem AND a router.

So we shall find out when I move in there. Good Lord, I'm so too old for this.
