I hired a disability firm after my first rejection, ( luckily I had enough vacation and sick time left from my job to last me for 5 or 6 month) I started the process in aug. and was fully approved in 6 months after first rejection..thanks to a disability firm...gl Queen Mary...that was 3 years ago. oh and I am ss, mine was only for ssdi, and not ssi , maybe there is a difference with applying and getting approved.
