That does not mean I am not open to options, it means I will use medication as last resort. I do believe in medication, I am on thyroid meds.

Look at antibiotics..we need them, but there is always a price when taking them. The price can be minimal, like a stomach ache or yeast infection or the price can be high like neuropathy or even death.

All I was saying is, I personally, am devastated to be at the point that I am even thinking about using them.
You sound like my mother who will not take pain meds even if she is in agony, my saying to her is the pain can't be that bad or you would take the meds. Having been in excruciating pain with the burning, I didn't care about the side effects, I just couldn't take the torture any more. Pain is exhausting, both physically and mentally,and that is the time for meds.
