I just want to add a few points here, that we are all just people looking to find other people who need and offer support to each other. Whether we came here from a google search or an email from a friend last year when BT1 was down, we're STILL here and I can only speak for myself when I say that I haven't seen any heavy handed moderating on BT1 ever, probably because it went on in other forums that I don't post in, I am not saying it didn't happen...I can't say such a thing because to do so would be belittling the feelings of people who feel mods on BT1 'wronged' them in some way. I can say that I have had a couple run ins with reporting rude posts in the Chronic Pain forum and I was glad for the swift banning of the offensive poster.

People in pain especially do not deserve to be dumped upon anymore then someone who is emotionally distraught does. It's not fair that we have to deal with trolls looking for pots to stir up trouble in. I like NT and since the name was changed I feel much more at home here then I did before the name change when I was posting about how it bothered me-I've since settled that in my mind after seeing the name change to something really cool like Neuro Talk. It is a good strong name and I am pleased seeing it on the psych central home page, that is wonderful that Doc John cares about NT enough to list it on the PC page.

Another point I want to hit home is that no matter what we are all just people, people in search of other people to share thoughts and feelings and experiences with, so we shouldn't judge one another because of what happens on other boards. I think personal beefs should be taken care of in email or the IGNORE button be used, that is what the feature is for so if you find yourself in a situation with someone that is bothering you or upsetting you I would definitely engage the ignore feature without a second thought.

That said I have to admire the way this board is being run, the administrators are heavily involved and their welcome presence is comforting. It shows me that they care and are 'walking the walk of the talk they talked' and that impresses me. I thank you all for all you've done to accept me personally and to help me personally. Some of the articles Doc John posts are really important to me and I am delighted to find things like that here. I think that one forum he posts in daily really is a great asset to NT and I thank you Doc John.

And thank you too KimmyDawn & Curious & Chemar, you all are doing a great job, thanks to the other staffers who's names I don't remember at this moment, you've all conducted yourselves with class and I appreciate it. I don't like to see BT1 bashing though, I love BT and will be there until it's no longer there for people...I also am growing to love NT, it's become another place I load up before bed and right after booting up because I know my friends are here just as I know I have friends there on BT. One shouldn't be judged for posting on another board. We should just go on about our business and post the stuff that matters, our friends deserve no less then our loving support just like they give us in return.

Bottom line, thank you NT staff, thank you for not bashing BT1 when it was having trouble, that said a lot to me, I saw Doc John correcting people in one of the forums about where the money went that people gave to BT, and when I saw that I felt very impressed, impressed that he cared enough to answer such a allegation to set the record straight. All I have seen of you Doc John you are definitely a class act and I thank you for keeping the doors here open for people looking for a place to find support and information.
