Three of my triggers are sugar (despite that I always test negative for pre/diabetes), starchy carbs (breads, taters, rice...), and to some extent nightshades (peppers, taters, maters, eggplant). Sometimes the next day -- sometimes up to 72 hrs after. Some folks are sensitive to gluten.

Walking/exercise hurts & causes burning, but short-lived and better in the long run.

Sleep, for me, is a must. Not enough exacerbates all kinds of pain & symptoms. I have trouble sleeping 8-9 hours at a time, so some days I nap or sleep in shifts.
