While not a doctor, or playing one on TV, life experience tells me blood tests would be most helpful vs CT scan to start. Colitis and other autoimmune diseases run in my family which correlate with your body not absorbing vital nutrients could be the source of your symptoms - even if you've been in remission. Have your Vitamin D3 levels checked (low levels can cause muscle pain, weakness, etc - my levels were 21 where 40 is normal) and an endocrinologist consult is helpful post brain injury because the biochemical balance can be thrown off - they should know what other blood panels to take based on symptoms.

Let us know what you find out.
