Similar programs "exist" to protect infants from vaccine complications, but it is impossible to collect damages. Our youngest, adopted as an infant from Guatemala, was never sick or feverish until the day of his vaccinations. He had febrile seizures each time. The first time we had high emergency room costs. Despite the very clear connection we could not get a pediatrician to say it was caused by the vaccines, and had to absorb the costs. We were told they were no big deal.
Our son, now 14, has severe expressive and receptive speech disorders which are directly linked to febrile seizures. Just the way it is.
