I've been on Wellbutrin for years and it helps a lot. I love it. I take the SR (sustained release) version. I tried to switch to XL (extended release) so I would only have to take it once a day instead of 2 times a day but I couldn't tolerate XL. The XL had too many side effects and was unbearable! So I went back to SR.

I did lose quite a lot of weight on Wellbutrin when I first started it -- was down to 114 lbs at 5' 7". Yikes! It also can rev up your sex drive.

But I found it easier to tolerate than SSRIs. The side effects can go away over time once your body adjusts.
