Yes, it's all a matter of pacing...I tend to do as much as possible in the morning when energy levels are high-then pay the price later with increased spasticity and pain, along with that darn fatigue.
But if I pace myself I feel like a southern belle, sitting under a willow tree being fanned in the heat while I sip iced tea...it's difficult to give in at all to this stupid disease, but you'll last a lot longer if you do one thing, then sit and read or enjoy the day, then do another, rest, etc...
Don't forget that heat ramps up your symptoms...keeping a cool rag in the refrigerator or a supply of ICEES in the freezer helps get my core temp down quickly-in fact my neuro prescribed Slurpees in the summer
Reality hits the fan for most of us in the summer-stinks, doesn't it?
