I have been taking effexor for many years for my depression. There is seratonin (don't know if i spelled that right.) in our brain that helps with depression.,Fibromyalgia and other auto immune diseases that people have are deficiant.
Effexor has really helped. You might ask your Dr. about it. Just know that there is a physical problem that promotes the depression. It not our fault. I feel so much better as far as depression goes. I wish you the best!!!
