why would you do that?
i have numerous pc's. im runnin windows 7 and 8. osx. chrome and umbuntu all on various pc's. i was leary at first about getting the chromebook but its awesome. kinda the point anyway.
you can wipe it and run it from a usb but i dont see why you would. the chromebook is awesome man. its fast. app based store it all in the cloud.
if you want to run linux you can but i would keep chrome. just an opinion
