I think it's very hard to judge from speed, what the severity of concussion will be. So much depends on prior history of concussion, angle of impact, if you were braced for the impact, etc. There are so many variables, it's all but impossible to quantify that.

It's been suggested in the forums here to focus on your symptoms and manage them, rather than gearing to a specific diagnosis, and I think that is a good idea. Doctors will say any number of things, not all of them accurate, not all of them helpful.

The good news is, you can do a lot for yourself, regardless of the doctor reports. Get plenty of rest, eat real food, drink plenty of water, limit screen/computer time, and monitor your symptoms to find out what works for you and what makes things worse. I have found self-monitoring to be extremely helpful over the years.
