I don't want to highjack the thread, but its interesting that you have reminded us of this possibility. I've been a house cleaner for over 8 years, working with chemicals almost every day of the week. I don't wear a mask , or gloves for the most part. I certainly wonder if this is the cause to my mysterious nerve damage.

Take it slow, and congratulate yourself. It helps to have a regular routine and purpose. When were sitting at home constantly researching our illness, it can take over our life.
