Default Very important trick by ins. Co.

I have had this happened three times, so it can't be a coincidence. The first few years they pay you too much. (I even called them to tell them, and they told me to shut up and mind my own business.)

I should have FAXED that letter that I think they are making an error, and since they are being notified, I will not be held responsible retroactively.

Then, a few years' pass, and yes, I get a letter saying they over paid me $40K or what ever, and they're going to stop payments until it catches up.

GO TO A JUDGE - first, you can't afford to live on nothing, they don't deserve interest on their fault, third, get an accountant to look at it and testify if they are off. and finally, plead to the court that this is just "unclean hands" and you beg the court for mercy.

God bless us all.
