I am not a professional. However it is my understanding that most cervical issues, effect the upper body, arms, hands and of course the neck. Lumbar issues and below effect the lower extremities, your legs etc. The first thing to do is get that MRI, ask for one if you have to. This should be what your doctor does to evaluate. The whole back including the cervical spine should be looked at. There have been some people who do experience leg pain, with cervical issues.
