I have never heard of this term but it is interesting nonetheless.

I have many interests in a lot of different subjects across the spectrum, but I never heard of it being an actual term.

Looking at the definition you provided it does kind of sound like an ADHD like of not being able to stay on task. However I found a website where it is dedicated to creativity of that sort of learning style. However they also admit they tend to get 'bored' with things. But the way they describe things is quite interesting...
