Hi Judy, Welcome.

I don't have TN, but I'm no stranger to chronic pain, the vicious cycle, or the Kübler-Ross model as applied to chronic pain.

Knowledge is power, and the key to power over chronic illness IMO is not only knowledge about the illness itself, but also knowledge about what to expect psychologically—understanding these things we all go through helps us to deal/cope.
