jweb,
Welcome to NeuroTalk. I understand you frustrations with Kaiser. I was with Kaiser for decades.
Don't let the neuropsych report get to you. It sounds like Kaiser is in CYA mode and did the neuropsych to try to protect them from liability. You should be talking to an attorney about your fall and injury.
NeuroPsych Assessments (NPA) often will indicate depression and anxiety for an mTBI. Concussions / mTBI can cause depression and anxiety like symptoms. Some of the NPA tests are easily misinterpreted. Read the
www.tbilaw.com and
www.subtlebraininjury.com web sites about neuropsych assessments.
What Kaiser facility did the NPA ? It took me years to get Kaiser to do a NPA. Even then, the report was lousy. The head of the neuropsych dept was not much better.
Tell us more about your symptoms and any treatments you have tried. We have all experienced struggles with the health care system and how it responds to concussions. We understand.
My best to you.
