Some medications cause my voice to come and go, I also notice when I'm a little dehydrated (often caused by same) my voice gets raspy.

If you are using your iPad in your lap and looking even slightly down you may be adding strain/stress to your head and neck which would then cause headaches. You might try keeping a journal as to when your headaches occur so that you can then look back and see what you were doing before it occurred. How are your eyes? Are you straining your eyes looking at the computer, paperwork, TV etc., this can also cause headaches. Looking up and focusing across the room frequently will exercise your eyes and alleviate strain on them.

Just a few thoughts..
