I hope this helps you. It will take a bit for your body to overcome the remaining infection so only time will tell.

Years ago, we used to mention the issue of abscessed maxillary teeth as a possible issue as the infection releases toxins into the blood stream near the brain. Sorry we neglected to mention it as a possibility.

Two things can be concussion related. Concussions can cause teeth grinding and jaw clenching. This can strain the roots causing tooth death. The head impact can also traumatize the teeth, either directly or as a jarring effect.

My concussion at 10 years old resulted in needing a root canal at 18 years old. My wife has had the same experience. Both of us had impacts to the front of the head and ended up with upper front teeth needing a root canal.
