Exclamation Omg!

Your mother sounds so much like me it's scary! 5 years ago I started with tingling in my feet, and numbness. In 3 months I was numb from the waist down. Over the 5 years I have progressed to being numb all over, increased heart rate, difficulty swallowing, no reflexes, and the list goes on. I too went to Mayo. I saw Dr Dyck, the top neuropathy doc in the world. After tons of tests (like your mom had) I was told that my neuropathy was most likely caused by an autoimmune disease that didn't show up, but might very well be undiscovered. I currently use a walker/wheelchair & have to have a home health aide with me. 5 years ago I was driving & teaching childbirth classes. I can't believe your story....it is so similar, except hers was faster. I thought I was the only one....

I am now taking Cellcept 1000mg twice a day to completely shut down my immune system. I would be very interested in hearing more of your story!
