Hi there, sounds like you've had a rough time of it recently with your CRPS...I hope today you are a little better.

If there are no obvious reasons for your hip pain, then of course there is a chance that it is spread of your CRPS causing the pain - but I really hope it's not. It could be inflammation of the tendons and muscles caused by the fall, and could subside over time. I'm in the UK and I'm afraid I've got no idea when Labor Day is - how long have you had the pain? I know when I get a new area (mine has spread from my left knee to both feet, my whole leg and whole left side) it tends to start with that endless sore sandpapered feeling, but everyone is different...

Are you taking vitamin C twice a day? It helps to prevent spread, and started quickly after a new injury it can help minimise the chances of your CRPS spreading to the injured area.

Sorry I can't do more to help, but I hope you get some relief soon. Has your doc tried some better painkillers? Not sleeping for so long must be very bad for your poor body and mind, and you have a right as a patient to have your pain controlled. I know it's easier said than done with CRPS, but they should try as much as possible...

Take care of yourself and let us know how you get on.

Bram.
