Sounds like a fun adventure to do with your sister. I agree with Renee, tell the manicurist. I have to tell people when they cut my hair, because a comb run through my hair that touches my scalp is misery, if the nail filing part is hard to tolerate, maybe you could do that part on the one hand, yourself.
