I can't even drink 2 beers over three hours with food.... I used to be able to drink beer like it was water. I have beer in the fridge of course, but it isn't for me. It is for guests now I still desire something fun to drink at dinner, so now I order San Pelligrino water. It is something you can toast with, and sounds fancy when your friends order drinks so that you don't just say "water, please" which can be embarrassing socially.

I'm rambling so my tl;dr is: I also cannot drink, and I'd recommend that you avoid alcohol as well. I am 3 months post-injury for reference.
