Hi Grace, I get severe spasming, dystonia in my legs and ankles. My feet extend and invert to about 90 degrees. I haven't developed any permanent damage to the ankle joints yet.
I have however, torn the cartilage in my right hip. The MRI showed the torn labral cartilage, tendinitis and bursitis. Because I'm disabled and have limited mobility, I have just assumed the damage has been caused by the spasms/dystonia because I'm pretty certain I didn't injure it doing athletics.
