Default white patches on brain

I am a 23 year old male, from Namibia Southern Africa. For the past two years, I have been suffering from temporal paralysis on the left and sometimes right side of my body, the paralysis however lasts a few seconds to a minute, during which I cant use my arms and fingers.

I went from GP to GP, no diagnosis. Until I was referred to a Neurologist, I told him my symptoms. We did an EEG, which ruled out epilepsy. We did an MRI, which showed white patches on my brain, the Dr said it is a viral inflammation, after which we did a lot of blood test and spinal fluid test to figure out what the virus was, all test were negative.

I do not know what to do next, as the paralysis are still happening and I am not on any medication. I am afraid that it might get worse. Please advise
