Hi Bryanna,

Thank you for replying so quickly

I'm in the UK so unfortunately have to rely on the NHS for referral. I know an oral surgeon can probably easily remove what's left but as you say ideally it should be removed ASAP. The thought of it potentially causing a serious infection is making me feel sick. I'm not sure what the dentist saw on the X-ray but it was that which made him decide to refer me. Just to add he hasn't given me antibiotics either. Should I insist on having them ?
