Wow, that is cool Bizi. My Uncle was a police officer, but in those days girls weren't accepted into the field. I was the first female municipal police chief in the state. Since then there have been several female patrol officers and many Chief's.
I really had to fight my way in taking 13 years, but paved the way for others. I remember a game commissioner speaking about the beaver dams along the lake to the town. He stopped me outside to tell me he was honored to meet me and wanted to share something.

He had been attending a conference in Pittsburg area and others were asking if he had worked with me. He admitted he was new to my district but would make it a point to meet me. He went on to say how well respected I was and admired. I was tough, honest, fair but above all had integrity.
One day my dh came home and asked me about a man that was lost in my town and I helped him find the family he needed for work to be done. I recalled him, dh told me how the man was going to selling the estate contents of dh Mom's home. The man told him the story how he was so lost on all the streets going in circles until I ran across him saving the day.we found out the gentleman was the father of a gal that just married dh's coworker.

You never know who you help how things come back to help you one day.
