And it's not implicated in the awful TOS symptoms which mostly derive from the neurovascular structures being compressed between the anterior and medial scalene (and first rib and collar bone).
I'm just curious if they can get away with pulling either the anterior or the medial, rather than both. I recall a botox study that got good results just by treating the anterior.
