I have been wearing glasses since 2nd grade. I am older than that now and am wearing Minimas. I want people to see me and not my glasses. They have a nose piece and thin red-tortise sides but no frames. They are progressive trifocals. They cost $800.

With a new script in hand, I set off to BJ's yesterday to get a cheaper pair and then have my optometrist put new RX in these old "frames" as a back-up pair. Turns out BJ's isn't "allowed" to make rimless glasses for RX's "higher than a 3 or 4." Mine are a 7. A seven what I don't know. Now, I'll have to look elsewhere.
