Completely agree Vrae, it certainly should be!
Here in the UK it's as far away as the moon...our politicians are so scared of the anti-drugs hype that the medical benefits of marijuana are immaterial - the fact that the stuff was taken medicinally long before the hippie crowd got hold of it has been completely lost. It's tied up in more red tape than Santa's sack of presents
and the fact that it might ease the pain of some patients with a rare condition no one understands or has heard of makes it very easy to ignore. Even MS patients have to jump through hoops to get Sativex (the only drug with a marijuana derivative licensed in the UK).
I'd love to have the chance to try it. I don't want to get high, or smoke anything, but I want to try the cannabinoid part that haa proven exciting in the research of pain relief. Why why why is it taking so long to isolate that, and make a drug that might benefit us?!
Maybe in twenty years time...
